Child Care Providers
Enrollment on CCR&R Referral Database
Licensed child care centers, family child
care providers & license exempt drop-in
recreation centers are eligible to be
entered into the Provider database. This
enables CCR&R to connect them with
parents who need the child care that they
can provide. Referral searches are based
on requested location(s), age of child(ren),
time and days of care needed, as well
as special accommodation. Parents are
given the name and phone number of "matching"
providers, and are encouraged to call
and interview these providers to find
the child care that best fulfills their
needs.
Enrollment
on the Provider database is free of charge,
as are the referrals to parents. This
referral process is funded by the State
Department of Education, Child Development
Division.

the "15 Hour" training component
required for licensed child care workers.
All of the classes listed are from approved
Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA)
institutions or trainers. The classes
are offered in two components:
- The first class includes pediatric and
cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric
first aid (CPR/First Aid) 8 hours.
- The second class includes prevention
of infectious disease and injury, prevention
policies and proper health practices for
child care (Preventative Health &
Safety) 7 hours.
The CPR/First Aid certification will have
