The
Emergency Food Assistance Program (EFAP) provides government
surplus commodities to low-income households. All items distributed
are nonperishable items and may vary from distribution to
distribution. There are six distributions throughout the year
(every other month).
How
to Apply
You may pick up an application at 1225 Gill Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you live in Chowchilla or Eastern Madera County, you can call and we will mail you an application. You will need verification of household income for the previous month, verification of your current address, and social security card.
